Save the Date - Payday Lending Summit
More reform is needed in the state if consumers are to be protected from predatory lending.
On Monday, February 25th, 2008, the Monsignor John Egan Campaign for Payday Loan Reform will hold the 2008 Predatory Payday Loan Lending Summit. The Summit will be held at Metropolitan Family Services, 1 North Dearborn, Chicago, Illinois from 10am to 2pm. Scheduled featured speaker is Jean Ann Fox, national known expert on the predatory small loan market and Director fo Consumer Protection for the Consumer Federation of America, as association of 300 pro-consumer organizations.
