The recent downturn of our nation’s economy has created widespread confusion and anxiety over financial matters. Discussions on financial systems have often focused on the need to stimulate the economy. This focus has often overshadowed the importance of asset building with many arguing that now is not the time for individuals to be saving. In order to continue stressing the importance of savings and assets, IABG has developed a list of discussion points on the relevance of asset building during a recession.
